Background and problem
Construction is one of the most document-heavy industries in the world. A single project can involve hundreds of contracts, specifications, and compliance documents, often running into 300–500 pages each.
Despite this scale, most teams still rely on manual review and fragmented workflows.
The cost of missing one clause
A contractor misses a single clause in a 400-page contract. Six months later, a design change happens and they absorb the loss.
The impact is not just inefficiency, it directly affects business outcomes:
Missed Dealines
Increased Risk
Slower Decisions
Manual Reviews
Opportunities for us
From these gaps, we identified a product opportunity for EPC teams:

A platform where construction teams don’t just read documents they query, evaluate, and act on them from start to end.
Designing the features
A built-in document editor that allows teams to draft, edit, and refine construction contracts and documents directly within the platform without switching between tools.
Teams author contracts from scratch or work from existing templates, making edits in a structured environment that stays connected to the platform's AI capabilities.

Powered by AI
Get insights of your documents easily with the power of AI. Summarise, Translate, Compare and add Checkpoints for the document.
Checklists and Risks
The Checklist repository allows organisations to define structured compliance rules for construction documents and save them for document insights.

Based on your set compliance, AI can generate a risk score of the documents while identifying risk score and missing clauses.

Comparing documents
The platform allows users to compare documents not only to identify textual differences but also to evaluate them against predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and structured criteria.

Tags – Structured Data Extraction from Documents
Tags convert unstructured construction documents into structured and searchable information. Such as contract value, project location, payment terms, scope of work.

When the users upload the pre-existing documents, the platforms captures the tags and extracts them.

AI Document Summarization
InnDoc AI generates automated summaries of long construction documents such as Obligations, Scope, Payment Conditions and Risk Clauses.

AI summary allows users to see the highlights of the individual clauses without digging through a lot of pages.
Contractual Workflow
From the moment a document is created, it follows a guided lifecycle. Drafting, Internal Review, Compliance Validation, and Approval with clear ownership at each stage. Inside InnDoc, you can setup your organisation and members for each level.
